If you haven’t caught on already, we absolutely L-O-V-E baths. Allowing ourselves to sink into and be held by water with our bath fixings of choice, we’re convinced that taking a bath is one of the best ways to heal any exhaustion, aches, and pains of both skin and soul.
This month is all about celebrating the art of taking a bath, but what if you don’t have a bathtub at home?! In comes the foot soak. Dominican priest and saint Thomas Aquinas once said, “sorrow can be alleviated by good sleep, a bath and a glass of wine.” We couldn’t agree more, which is why we reached out to our friends Joni and Jennelle of Mint and Mirth, the world’s best traveling bartenders, to do a bath time+cocktail collaboration during our BEING Bath Month.
Part of the beauty of taking a bath is the ritual of creating the space for yourself to relax and unwind. How you create an external sacred bath space sets the foundation for you to tap into your internal sacred space to provide yourself with nourishment that goes beyond the surface and seeps into the soul.
Here at BEING, we’ve declared June as “Bath Month” to honor the self-care ritual of taking a bath and to encourage you to elevate your bathing experience, whether it’s in a bathtub or taking a foot soak, so that you can deeply nourish your skin and soul.

It is from our mothers that we can learn how to love wholeheartedly and practice loving unconditionally; they serve as role models for how to care for others with open hearts.

The concept of hygge often refers to something as simple as pouring a cup of coffee and lighting candles, of gathering around a candlelit dinner table with loved ones, of cozying up by the fireplace with warm wool socks and a cozy blanket.
